Yesterday I was at Elvaston castle and we'd finished the beagle walk and were having a wander through the grounds with a friend and we saw this newly fledged Blue tit and it really made me think of this picture, I had seen on your blog it was so tiny and on the ground so I went over and luckily it was stood on a twig on the grass so I took hold of the twig and placed it safely on a log which was higher up - my thoughts were what if someone in a rush hadn't seen it and hurt it - after placing it on the log we stood back and watched for a while as the parents flew down to the log to feed it - Nature is so beautiful if only you take time to appreciate it and give it a helping hand at times :-)
